Moments later, however, he put the match beyond doubt with his second goal, which was originally disallowed for offside but after a VAR review was ruled as a try.

The stage is set for an enthralling showdown between Real Madrid and their rivals Borussia Dortmund in the final. The final will take place on June 1 at Wembley Stadium, where they will be aiming to win a record 15th Champions League title.
