Bollywood actor, Ashwath Bhatt who is famous for his roles in movies such as Raazi and IB71, has revealed a dreadful experience during his recent trip to Istanbul, Turkey. While he was exploring the popular tourist attraction, Galata Tower, an assailant attacked him.

Ashwath Bhatt Speaks On Being Assaulted in Turkey
Ashwath narrated the whole ordeal to Parami News. He said that “I was walking towards Galata Tower when suddenly I saw this man come up to me with a chain on his hand and before I could even understand what was happening he hit my back with it. Looking back at this event it was most probably a group of people that coordinated their moves given that one of them tried to snatch my bag… All of the sudden something happened – I was so shocked -.”
As much as Ashwath had not anticipated such an attack, he managed to resist the snatcher’s pulling his bag off. A taxi driver on the way intervened and scared away the robber. Nevertheless, while struggling with him there were injuries inflicted upon the actor.
Ashwath Bhatt Files Complaint
Ashwath insisted on reporting these cases instead of tourists being afraid of trouble. According to him: “This thing taking place especially in such a touristy area”. People watch films and think turkey is all romantic but if we are silent then crime rates would go higher than ever before warned about pickpockets by everyone but this was just too much for me. ”The artist has registered a case against local authorities about his situation and now healing after the incident.”
It should be noted that Ashwath has appeared in many known films. Which include Mission Majnu Sita Ramam Raaz Reboot Rakkhosh Phantom Kesari Haider etc.
