Babar shared his wish on social media platform Instagram where he was seen along with his teammates, wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwanand the Pacers Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shahput on the new jersey of the national team to participate in this prestigious competition.

In the last T20 World Cup held in Australia in 2022, Pakistan team’s journey ended in a bittersweet way. The team showed their quality by reaching the final but their dreams of winning the T20 WC title for the second time were dashed as they lost to England in five games.
Pakistan’s only championship win in the tournament came in 2009 in England, where they defeated Sri Lanka by eight wickets in the final.
With the upcoming T20 World Cup approaching, the Pakistan team is playing two T20I series away from home to gear up for the challenge. They will face Ireland and England, with each series consisting of three games. These series will provide Pakistan with a valuable opportunity to fine-tune their strategy and assess their team’s performance ahead of the prestigious tournament.
