Maheep Kapoor is well known for her participation in the reality TV show “The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives” along with Neelam Kothari Soni, Bhavana Pandey and Seema Sajid. Recently, Mahip Kapoor shared insights on her experiences on the show and life as a Bollywood wife and mother.
When asked about what concerns she had at first about participating in a program where she plays herself, Mahip said she was afraid of being scrutinized, judged or misunderstood. I get really irritated when people don’t understand me.
At the same time, Maheep also recognized some positive aspects that come with being part of the show. She appreciates the love she has been shown and opportunities availed to her by indicating that it has given her an identity beyond just being known as ‘someone’. “It gave me my name. I was no longer Shanaya’s mom or Sanjay’s wife. I was Maheep Kapoor. So, I’m very grateful for that. It gave me an identity,” she shared.”

As Maheep gets ready for season 3 of Bollywood Wives, her insights into identity, fashion and the idiosyncrasies of living under limelight continue to hold audiences spellbound as well as provide valuable glimpses into the complex nature of Indian film actors’ lives.
It is currently onto its third season having completed two seasons since it started airing. Ever since appearing on this show, Maheep has become quite popular due to her personality traits resulting in huge number of followership increasing day by day. The show welcomes three new participants this season: Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Shalini Passiand and Kalyani Saha Chawla.
Mahip She married Sanjay in 1997 and the couple has two children, Shanaya and Jahaan.
