In the third phase on May 7, voters will cast their votes in 94 Lok Sabha seats covering 10 states and 2 federal territories.Notably, all 26 seats in Gujarat will be contested in this phase

The third phase of voting for the 18th Lok Sabha elections will be held on May 7, involving 94 constituencies covering 10 states and two Union Territories (UTs). The voter turnout rate for the first two phases of the polls was 66.14% in the first phase (April 19) and 66.71% in the second phase (April 26).

In the third phase, the states that will go to polls are: Assam (4 seats), Bihar (5 seats), Chhattisgarh (7 seats), Goa (2 seats), Gujarat ( 26 seats), Karnataka (14 seats), Madhya Pradesh (8 seats), Maharashtra (11), Uttar Pradesh (10), West Bengal (4), Jammu and Kashmir ( 1), Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu (2).

List of constituencies to vote in third phase of Lok Sabha polls

  • Assam: Dhubri, Kokrajhar, Barpeta, Guwahati
  • Bihar: Jhanjharpur, Supaul, Araria, Madhepura, Khagaria
  • Chhattisgarh: Sargujja, Raigarh, Janjigir-Champa, Korba, Bilaspur, Durg, Raipur
  • Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu
  • Goa: North Goa, South Goa
  • Gujarat: Kutch, Banaskantha, Patan, Mahsana, Sabarkantha, Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad East, Ahmedabad West, Surendranagar, Rajkot, Porbandar, Jamnagar, Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Anand, Kheda, Panchmahal, Dahod, Vadodara, Chhota Udaipur, Baruch, Bardoli, Navsari, Valsad
  • Karnataka: Chikodi, Belgaum, Bagalkot, Bijapur, Gulbarga, Raichur, Bidar, Koppal, Bellary, Haveli, Dharwad, Uttarakhand, Davangere, Shimoga
  • Madhya Pradesh: Morena, Binder, Gwalior, Guna, Sagar, Vidisha, Bhopal, Rajgarh, Bettur
  • Maharashtra: Baramati, Raigad, Dalashiv, Latur(SC), Solapur(SC), Madha, Sangli, Ratnagiri-Hindugarh, Kolhapur, hatkana cape

  • BJP fielded former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan from Vidisha
  • congressional leaders Digvijaya Singh will fight the Lok Sabha polls from Rajgarh.
  • NCP (SP) leader and daughter of Sharad Pawar, Supriya Sulewill compete against her sister-in-law Sunetra Pawar, Who is the wife of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar?
  • Congress Party Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury will contest from Baharampur seats in west bengal
  • Wife of Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav Dimple Yadav will fight from Mainpuri
