It took India only about two days to beat Bangladesh and bag the second Test match on the 1st of October, Tuesday at Kanpur by 7 wickets. The Test began after India had justified their rank by taking the first Test in Chennai by a more convincing 280 runs.
The 2-0 clean sweep of this Test series saw India further cement their commanding position in the World Test Championship (WTC) table. It also ensured that the Rohit Sharma’s side remains unbeaten in Test matches in India since 2012 when they last lost a series. Since then, India has lost four test matches out of 7 series.
