It is predicted that the weather in North Sound, Antigua on Saturday will allow a full game in the T20 World Cup Super 8s match between India and Bangladesh; however, there could be disruptions due to a thunderstorm.
India have been seen as favorites after defeating Afghanistan in their first ‘Super 8s’ match of Group 1 but they must not underrate plucky Bangladeshi side.
Regarding the weather forecast for the area, accuweather.com suggests it’s quite decent.
“Partly sunny with a thunderstorm in spots” is how Antigua looks like come Saturday as per the forecast which also indicates rain for about two hours during different times of day and amounts to 41% cloud cover.
The match will start at 10:30 am, local time or 8 pm IST.
India came through unbeaten into Super Eights having won all group stage matches against Ireland, Pakistan and USA while Canada rained off their game in Florida against them.
India has not lifted any ICC trophy since winning Champions Trophy under MS Dhoni back in 2013 and now are looking forward to ending an eleven-year wait by claiming their second T20 world cup crown this year.
Dhoni captained India to victory in the inaugural edition of this tournament way back in 2007.
