How exciting is some of the stuff he’s done in this IPL – I think he’s hit three 20-ball 50s in this tournament, so he’s in the same league as Travis Head and Abhishek Shah Together with Abhishek Sharma, he was the standout power batsman throughout the tournament.
Despite his outstanding performance, Fraser McGurk was not included in Australia’s squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup.The team is led by an all-rounder Mitchell Marshwhich features the return of left-arm spinner Ashton Agar and the inclusion of all-rounders Marcus Stonis and Cameron Green. However, notable omissions include experienced batsman Steve Smith, experienced seamer Jason Behrendorff and all-rounder Matt Short.
