New Delhi: Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath Slams Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal On his comments about the Prime Minister ModiThe Prime Minister may retire at the age of 75 and said that aware of their imminent defeat in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the opposition is making desperate and futile attempts to attack the Prime Minister on the basis of his age.
The UP Chief Minister emphasized that the people of India recognize Prime Minister Modi’s dedication in taking the country to its ultimate glory.
CM Yogi said in a post on Modi ji is received from east to west and from north to south. Knowing that their defeat in the Lok Sabha elections is a foregone conclusion, the desperate opposition is trying in vain to use Modi’s age as an excuse to launch attacks.
Earlier, Arvind Kejriwal had claimed that Prime Minister Modi is paving the way for Home Minister Amit Shah to take over, while Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will quit after the elections.
Kejriwal pointed out the provision for retirement of BJP leaders after the age of 75 and cited examples like LK Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, Sumitra Mahajan and Yashwant Sinha. He suggested that if the BJP forms the government, they will first remove Yogi Adityanath and then appoint Amit Shah as the prime minister.
Kejriwal questioned whether Amit Shah would fulfill Modi’s assurances, suggesting that PM Modi was seeking votes in Amit Shah’s interest.
