Smriti said when she got the chance to meet Kohli she did have so many questions related to batting and was very curious to know what such a great player has in his mind, adding that she had a slight issue with her grip and so times had to ask Kohli about such.
Smriti added that at one point she did tell him how it feels to carry the burden of all these aspirations as there are these many aspirations on him, and Virat simple said that he does not see it that way, there are no pressures on him, he simply does whatever his team requires.
Smriti continues, “We had that in me but it never comes out in our performances, but after hearing it from him I thought I was in a better mindset.”
