Best player kaun hai…’: Babar Azam Pakistan’s poor performance at the T20 World Cup in the USA and West Indies has continued to generate a heated debate.
However, Pakistan’s joy was cut short in the Super Over by arch-rivals US that inflicted painful loss of 6 runs on them.
Although Pakistan emerged victorious over Canada and Ireland, they were unable to proceed to the Super Eights phase.
Like always, it is usually the skipper who gets all criticism which is not different for Babar Azam especially from his batting and captaincy when he pressed panic buttons against their archrivals India after leading them through a victory path at some point.
Recently, Shoaib Malik released a video where he criticized Babar Azam saying that he would never be part of any top team in international cricket.
“How about our best player then? Our best player happens to be Babar Azam. And I am talking about only the top four or five teams. Can Babar play for Australia, England or even India? No!” This was Shoaib Malik speaking during a talk show held after an India-England semifinal match.
Babar has scored 122 runs in four matches during this edition of World T20 with highest score of 44 at average of 40.66 and strike rate of 101.66.
