Former litigant Ansari also said that Prime Minister Modi was lucky that his election started from Ram city
Ahead of PM Modi’s visit to Ayodhya on Sunday and his roadshow, Iqbal Ansari, a former litigant in the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid case, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi The last ten years have been very good and he hopes he will be prime minister again.
Talking to the media about Prime Minister Modi’s first arrival in Ayodhya since the Pran Pratistha ceremony, Ansari said, “Prime Minister Modi is lucky that his election starts from Ram’s city.”

In January this year, former parties involved in the Ayodhya land dispute case were also invited to attend the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple held in Ayodhya on January 22. The invitation was handed to him at his home in Kotiya Panjitola near Ram Path.
He was also present when hundreds of people gathered in Ayodhya to welcome Prime Minister Modi on December 30, when he inaugurated a rebuilt railway station and a new airport in Uttar Pradesh.
Ansari has been a big supporter of the Babri Masjid and was invited to attend the ‘bhoomipujan’ ceremony at the Ram Mandir on August 5, 2020.
During the bhoomi pujan ceremony, he said, “There is a Ganga-Jamuni-Tehzeeb in Ayodhya where all religions are respected equally. Perhaps, it was the wish of Lord Ram that I was invited to this event .There is no difference between Hindus and Muslims living in Ayodhya. The matter is currently settled by the Supreme Court.
Iqbal began pursuing the case in court after his father Hashim Ansari, the oldest litigant in the land dispute, died in 2016 at the age of 95.
