Australia’s star all-rounder for IPL 2024, Cameron Green had a memorable experience during his first season with Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Batting alongside the legendary Virat Kohli and sharing the dressing room with him was a highlight for Green.
The Mumbai Indians acquired Green in the IPL 2023 Auction for a huge sum of Rs 17.5 crore.
However, after the completion of November 2023 player retention deadline for upcoming IPL 2024 season, Green was traded to RCB after spending one season with Mumbai Indians.
Cameron played in 16 matches while at Mumbai Indians in 2023. Subsequently, he represented RCB in 13 games where he accumulated an impressive average of 31.88 runs.
Regarding Virat Kohli, Green said: “It is always pretty special when you look back at these times playing with Virat. He gave everything always whenever he plays which is his beauty.”
“It’s never towards batter or anything; it’s just pumping himself up, pumping the team up,” he said.
Cameron is currently part of Australia’s squad for T20 World Cup.
India were beaten by victorious Australia in the ODI World Cup final of 2023 when they triumphed over their rivals India in Wankhede Stadium.
