Lakshman Dass Napa, a sitting ruling BJP legislator from Ratia reserve Assembly Constituency, has resigned from the party. He was denied ticket for the Haryana Assembly polls when he applied for one.
In a letter to State Party Chief Mohan Lal Badoli Mr. Napa went ahead to quit the party and out of the primary membership of it. This was shortly after the first list of candidate numbering sixty-seven had been published by the BJP.
The party has introduced ex Sirsa MP Sunny Duggal from Ratia constituency.
Ms. Duggal speaking at a press conference noted how in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls she was not renominate from the Siras Parliamentary Constituency as Ashok Tanwar who joined the BJP before election was awarded the ticket.
Mr. Tanwar did however get loss to Kumari Selja of the Congress.
The ruling BJP however is looking to dethrone many recent entrants of the party; more within months of entering the party. In its first list released a little midweek toward the end of Wednesday September four loading back Haryana chief minister Nayad Singh Saini ruling MLA from Karnal who politically had the lying held finally captured the Ladwa seat.
Three candidates are aiming for a ball in the ceiling next Haryana Assembly elections, granting the BJP however dheer jawhar in which the opposition Congress looking forward to exploiting the grap increasing wave of dissatisfaction with the present government.
Mr. Saini is the BJP’s candidate for Chief Minister in the Assembly elections. Votes counting for the elections to 90-member Assembly will be held on October 8.
