Elon Musk commended Vivek Ramaswamy, an Indian national, for his impassioned speech at the Republican National Convention, in which he spoke about the ‘American Dream’ and urged people to conquer fear and speak out their minds.
Ramaswamy eulogized historical achievements at GOP meeting calling for a resurgence of this dream to strengthen the USA as well as strongly supporting Donald Trump’s presidential re-election bid.
According to Vivek Ramaswamy, “Fear has been infectious in this country. But courage can be contagious too. It is also what it means to be an American…If you are sitting at home disagreeing with every single word I just said, our message to you is: We will still defend unto death your right to say it because we are Americans.”
Vivek Ramaswamy left the presidential race earlier this year. He highlighted that Americans can passionately argue on differing grounds but live together peacefully stating that “We are the country where we can disagree like hell and still get together at the dinner table at the end of it. That is the America I know. That is the America we miss.”
Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla replied on his X handle,” Well said!!”
He further argued that US could be a great nation for all its citizens regardless of backgrounds since success does not depend on race or origin. “That country where no matter who you are, where your parents came from or what your skin color is or how long your last name is, you will still get ahead in this country with your own hard work, your own commitment, your own dedication. And by God…” he added.
President Vivek Ramaswamy further tied up ‘American exceptionalism’ concept with its potential revival under President Donald Trump. In his words: “That is the American dream. That is what won us the American Revolution. That is what reunited us after the American Civil War. That is what won us two world wars and the Cold War. That is what still gives hope to the free world.”
Moreover, he stated that, “And if we can revive that dream over group identity, victimhood and grievance, then nobody in the world, not a nation, not a corporation, not a virus, not China, is going to defeat us. That is what American exceptionalism is all about. And that is what we will revive this November when we send Donald J Trump back to the White House.”
Earlier today 38-year-old addressed illegal immigration problem promising firm action. “Our message to illegal immigrants is also this; we will return you to your country of origin. This does not mean every single one of you are bad people but because you broke the law and United States of America was founded on the rule of law,” he said.
If they came into power Vivek Ramaswamy would also ensure sealing southern border on day one.
He spoke directly to black Americans in an attempt to nullify the negative image of Republican desertion created by the media. “You have been made to believe that Republicans do not care about your communities for a very long time by these media houses. We want you to be safe, we want you to have clean streets. We want you to get jobs and we want your children to live better lives than yours. And the justice system must treat all people same regardless their color or political stand” he announced.
