Donald Trump on Wednesday said that his life was under “big threat” after the US intelligence warned him of “serious and real” threat of assassination attempts from Iran.
“Iranian agents have made big threats on my life. It is the whole of the US Military that can be seen standing & sitting with piling spoils. There were attempts made by Iran that failed but they will give it another shot. No one is safe in such a circumstance. I am now within more men, guns & weapons than I have ever encountered,” Trump said on X.
He also expressed gratitude to the US Congress for without any dissent voted to increase the Secret Service budget.
“Thank you to Congress for unanimous excessive approval of funds to Sky Marshall- None of the Members voted No. Great to see Democrats and Republicans come together for anything constructive,” he said.
Previously, Donald Trump’s campaign had notified in a statement: “Today President Trump was made aware about very carefully targeted and very real threats posed by the Iranian authorities to defame and destabilize America by killing him.”
After this, Trump had urged America to “wipe off” Iran from the world if any such attempts were ever made again.
“‘If they do ‘assassinate president trump, which is always a possibility,’ then I hope that America will ‘permit’ – not tolerate, nor assassinate but ‘permit’ – destruction of Iran– wipe it clean off the planet – if that does not happen, then the image If that does not happen, American Leaders will be called ‘gutless’ cowards!” he announced through his social media platform Truth Social.
