Chopra believes strongly in Abhishek’s chances and wants him to be part of the Indian team soon because of his proficiency while attacking.
“I think Abhishek Sharma will be in the Indian team pretty quickly. His name should be there in the Indian team. We can’t say we don’t have any strikers. We have many like these too… You can see Abhishek Sharma among those youngsters who are ready for making it big,” continued Chopra.
“The list is endless now. When you look at so many batsmen none should look back & say we don’t have people who can bat? If we decide to go in the other direction, that is not Indian cricketers’ fault. The future is with you It’s exciting to see how India are going to bat in front of us,” Chopra concluded.
