It was reported that a Bangladeshi cricket fan was possibly asked by the supporters and medically attended to immediately after the start of the second Test against India here on Friday but it was not clear what led to such an occurrence.
The man, his fans and friends know him super fan Roby was then costume dressed like the tiger and was seated in stand C when the incidence occurred.
A member of Uttar Pradesh cricket Association said Roby was unable to explain how the events unfolded, however, it was evident that he was agitated.
In an interaction with the media, he said that he had been beaten on the stomach during fracas.
“After moving out of the stands he was holding his sides and walking bent forward as if he would faint any moment. He was offered a chair to sit but he collapse,” said the official.
A law enforcement officer inside baseball grounds made a comment that the fan was taken care of, and first aid given and even a stretcher was requested for him.
