In a thoughtful act that warms the heart, Naseem Shah, a young fast Pakistani bowler, saved a disappointed young fan by giving an autograph for his captain Babar Azam.
The occurrence happened in England where Pakistan is playing four Twenty20 matches against host country. The series is currently led by England 1-0 with two games being washed out due to bad weather.
One of the videos trending on social media showed how some little fans ran to Babar Azam seeking autographs from him. Even when the team’s skipper signed for one child and quickly entered into a lift nearby leaving another boy upset. A bystander, Naseem Shah tried to cheer up the child who appeared sad. Naseem not only signed an autograph for the young fan but also took it upon himself to sign on behalf of Babar Azam.
“Is this Babar Azam’s?” asked the child who was still analyzing everything that had just transpired. With a calm look in his face, Naseem said “Yes, it has to be.”
This move by Naseem ensured that the kid left satisfied and happy. Additionally, he did not stop there; he spent time taking photos with other kids as well as interacting with them making it memorable for all these children.
