New Delhi: At a rally in Bihar’s Samastipur and Muzaffarpur, Haq said his party was not silent on Ambani and Adani as claimed by the Prime Minister Modi. According to Haq, since PM Modi himself is alleged to receive black money from these industrialist, he wonders why no action has been taken by his government.
Haq also asked why Modi had stayed quiet if this criminality was happening under his watch as self-proclaimed “watchman” of the country. He asked why a chowkidar doesn’t keep away such hooligans if he is himself one.
Haq brought up the recent statement that Prime Minister Modi made during a Lok Sabha election when he accused the Congress party of making a “deal” with Ambani and Adani thereby suggesting that they are given huge sums of black money by those people.
According to Haq, democracy has been put at risk by BJP which allowed India’s prime minister come from son of a tea vendor while president of opposition congress party became son of worker. He criticized the BJP for inciting social tension thus focusing attention loose on serious issues like unemployment and inflation.
In his speech, Haq reminded that Congress’ role in struggle for independence and democratic development in India among other things mentioning those who have sacrificed their lives for nationhood. He rubbished claims made by BJP which stated the possibility of an inheritance tax imposed by congress led government as it is propaganda aimed at misinforming voters.
Accusing BJP for lying and intimidation in its elections campaign Haq underscored the need to vanquish all divisive forces threatening unity in our country through caste or religion based ideologies.
