Congress party has fielded new contender KL Sharma to take over from Rahul Gandhi in Amethi Lok Sabha constituency
The Congress party on Friday announced that Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi will contest from Rabareli while Kishori Lal Sharma will contest from Amethi, ending the Gandhi family’s legacy in Uttar Pradesh Seats of suspense.
KL Sharma is all set to contest the 2024 Lok Sabha elections against Smriti Irani, the leader and Union minister of the Bharatiya Janata Party and current Amethi BJP MP.
