However, there was a new twist to the tale during the second Test between England and West Indies at Trent Bridge Nottingham.
In the course of the match, an unexpected ‘unicorn balloon’ came into play resulting in a brief stoppage.
England Cricket’s social media released a footage of the balloon entering the premises and being swiftly taken away by one of the ground stewards.
“Only at cricket,” read the caption which left fans cracking.
