In a recent Twitter burst, Harbhajan Singh, the former Indian cricketer, slams Pakistani Journalist for comparing MS Dhoni to Mohammed Rizwan. The veteran who played 103 Tests, 236 ODIs and 28 T20s for India between 1998 and 2016 criticized the journalist after he put up a photo of Dhoni and Rizwan with a question on who is better.
Harbhajan taught the Pakistani journalist while still praising his batting prowess in this message.
“What r u smoking nowadays ???? what a silly question to ask, bhaiyo isko batao. DHONI bhut aage hai RIZWAN se Even if u will ask Rizwan he will give u an honest answer for this. I like Rizwan he is good player who always play with intent.. but this comparison is wrong. DHONI no1 even today in world cricket. None better thm him behind stumps,” Harbhajan wrote on his social media handle.
Under Dhoni’s captaincy, India won two historic World Cups. In 2007 he led the Indian team to their maiden ICC T20 World Cup win over Pakistan in nail biting final.
Four years later in 2011, he captained India winning them the ICC Cricket World Cup thus ending a drought that had lasted for twenty-eight years.
Unbeaten 91 against Sri Lanka at Wankhede Stadium which included the unforgettable six that sealed us the win is something history will never forget.
Dhoni has also guided India to two other triumphs: two-time World Cups as well as one champions trophy victory back in June of 2013.
