Not long ago in New Delhi, Rohit Sharma his comment “Jo bhi Garden mein ghoomega…” has divided the internet.
On stump microphones, Indian skipper’s words were captured during a Test against England as he asked his fielders not to relax on the field.
Ahead of their game against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens on Saturday, Mumbai Indians shared a video where Rohit asked Tilak Varma funny things like “Hey hero, brother what are you doing? Is there fog in your chappals? What’s in the garden?”
Tilak Varma: “Hai na Bhaiya, Garden of Eden!”
“Kya? Garden of Eden?” Rohit stopped and enquired before turning around and walking away with a smile.
It is recorded that Rohit has a special connection with the Garden of Eden. He made his debut here at this iconic venue back in 2013 and scored 177 runs against West Indies.
The same year on November 13th while playing for India against Sri Lanka in ODIs, Rohit registered his highest individual ODI score of 264 runs.
