Shafali Verma was the shining star in this match with her knock of 81 runs that came off just 48 balls, featuring a six and twelve fours, seeing India pile up 178/3 in their 20 overs.

On Tuesday, India defeated Nepal by 82 runs at Dambulla to make it to the semifinals of Women’s Asia Cup.

Deepti Sharma took three wickets while Radha Yadav and Arundhati Reddy took two each as Nepal could muster only 96 for nine in their quota of twenty overs and were out of the tournament.

India’s impressive victory against the UAE is relived by Shafali Verma and Radha Yadav in a video shared on BCCI women official X handle today.

Radha Yadav starts saying during an interaction with UAE team, Shafali Verma had said that bowlers bowl atleast 1-2 poor deliveries per over. To this Radha says she can also hit good deliveries for boundaries too.

Shafali then asks about her bowling as two scalps included that of Nepal captain Indu Barma, caught by Shafali herself.

Radha says going forward with world cup coming even small things matter but looking ahead while shafali claims we must win asia cup

Radha asks Shafali why she is still in form since they have been playing cricket continuously for one month now.

Actually I’ve been thinking about building an innings now hoping I’ll finish strong too for the team.

Shafali then asks Radha about her efforts on the field which results in taking great catches or running out players superbly.

In addition, Radha mentioned that unlike before they are trying to enjoy fielding as much as possible so do extra fielding and fitness drills. This was agreed upon by shifalli who said all them would try learning from amazing efforts made on the ground by radahas.
