Rishabh Pant‘s debut in the Delhi Premier League on Saturday may not have set the ground on fire, but one shot off the bat of ‘Purani Dilli-6‘ skipper once again left the fans in awe of the wicketkeeper-batsman.
After being put in to bat by South Delhi Superstarz captain Ayush Badoni, the Purani Delhi team lost their opener Manjeet Singh early, which brought Pant in to bat at number three.
Pant’s 32-ball stay produced 35 runs, including 4 fours and one six, which had fans talking on social media.
Medium-pacer Shubham Dubey bowled a shortish delivery as Pant went down on one knee to play a lap shot to backward square leg, which went all the way for a six.
