Pakistan secured a significant Test series win by defeating England by nine wickets on Saturday. The victory came after Noman Ali and Sajid Khan showcased exceptional spin bowling, taking all 10 wickets to dismiss England for 112 runs in Rawalpindi.
Shan Masood, the Pakistan captain, led the final charge, hitting five boundaries in six deliveries and sealing the win by launching Shoaib Bashir over the ropes.
This triumph marked Pakistan’s first home Test series win since they defeated South Africa in February 2021. It also offered a measure of revenge after Pakistan lost 3-0 to England two years ago.
Despite the victory, taunts were evident as former cricketer Ramiz Raja questioned Masood on national television, asking, “Aapne 6 losses in a row kaise achieve kiya?” (How did you achieve six losses in a row?)

The match concluded before lunch on the third day of play, making it a memorable series for Pakistan.
Pakistan secured a 2-1 series victory against England after a surprising turnaround in the last two Tests. The series seemed one-sided when England triumphed in the first Test in Multan by an innings and 47 runs, setting a new record.
Following the first Test, Pakistan made unexpected changes, dropping star players Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Naseem Shah. The replacements, Noman and Sajid, made significant contributions, taking a combined total of 39 wickets in the second and third Tests.
Pakistan won the second Test by 152 runs, also held in Multan, on the same pitch as the first Test. This move aimed to benefit the home team’s spinners.
