“I haven’t watched the show but I have been to Hira Mandi in Lahore a few times. Bollywood has a tendency to romanticize prostitutes and brothels. This is a sad comment because brothels are never rich , charm or beautiful place.
He further added, “Furthermore, we must ask the question: Does creativity give us the freedom to glorify human suffering? Is it okay to make a film that depicts slum life as a life of affluence? To depict slum dwellers as dressed to attend Is it the same as Ambani’s wedding?
