According to sources, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai promises to be a fun family entertainer with a love triangle at its core. The movie is produced by Ramesh Taurani under his banner TIP Entertainment. “It’s a quirky title in sync with the world that David Dhawan is looking to create with Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur, and Sreeleela. It’s a fun family entertainer with the love triangle of the trio at the center. David Dhawan has cracked a concept that’s fresh and original and is confident to recreate again comedies magic on big screen,” said a source close to the development.
Now shooting in Mumbai
The film recently went on floors with its first schedule in Mumbai where Varun Dhawan is sharing screen space along Maniesh Paul and Kubbra Sait amongst others. As we progress into filming other ensemble members will join them too. “Today Varun is shooting alongside Maniesh Paul & Kubbra Sait rest of cast will come together as journey progresses. Get ready for a typical David dhavan comedy filled with colours, music, big star cast,” added the insider.

Even after Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, Varun Dhawan will be part of other two films. His first film will be Baby John being produced by Murad Khetani and Atlee which is set for a Christmas 2024 release. After that, he will appear in Sunny Sanskari Ki Dulhania opposite Janvi Kapoor which has been directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Karan Johar on April 19, 2025.
