Ramdas Atharwal has lodged a complaint with the Election Commission against Rahul Gandhi, the Congress leader’s frequent allegations that Bharathiya Janata Party will change India’s constitution.
According to Atharwal, who is considered a prominent Dalit leader and an NDA constituent partner, it would be correct to ban Gandhi from making this charge.
“Rahul Gandhi often claims the BJP intends to amend the Indian Constitution in case of its triumph at national elections. Nevertheless, these assertions have been repeatedly rejected by Prime Minister Modi.
“My complaint was about what he said repeatedly to the media about these things. He must not be allowed to do this again and should be acted upon,” declared the Republican Party of India (A) president.
