A case was registered against HD Revanna and his close friend Sathish Babanna in Mysore on Thursday night for allegedly kidnapping a woman.
Karnataka JD(S) MLA HD Revanna on Sunday said his arrest in a kidnapping case related to allegations of sexual abuse against his son Prajwal was part of a political conspiracy. Revanna was arrested on Saturday from the residence of his father, former prime minister HD Deve Gowda, in Padmanabha Nagar, minutes after his anticipatory bail plea was dismissed by the Bengaluru Dismissed on behalf of the Special Court.

Police sources said the woman was allegedly abducted to prevent her from appearing in court against Prajwal Revanna.
HD Revanna was charged under Sections 364(a) (kidnapping for ransom, etc.), 365 (kidnapping or abduction with intent to secretly and wrongfully restrain a person) and 34 (seizure by several persons in furtherance of a common intention) of the CrPC. behavior performed).
