India’s 23-run victory over Zimbabwe in the third T20I at Harare on Wednesday had a special highlight that invited reaction in equal measure of awe and surprise by the Indian players. It was the catch that Ravi Bishnoi took while fielding at point.
After India posted 182 for 4 on the board, Brian Bennett (4) played a fierce cut shot against Avesh Khan that flew to the point region at knotts. But just as it seemed like Ravi Bishnoi will let slip off the ball, when it was about to pass through his hands, he marked his jump perfectly and executed a stunner.
This reduced Zimbabwe to 19 for 3, and though Dio Myers’ unbeaten knock of 65 off 49 balls, there were not enough runs for hosts to get their chase back on track. Washington Sundar’s effort of 3-15 topped India’s bowling charts as they limited Zimbabwe to 159 for 6.
The day after the match, BCCI shared out a video showing how Indian players reacted to Bishnoi’s catch; where Avesh said that wicket should be credited to Bishnoi’s statistics instead of his own and Sundar said he enjoyed watching it from mid-on.

With this win India now leads, with two games won and one remaining which is scheduled on July thirteen (4th T20I).
Zimbabwe shocked India in the series opener winning it by thirteen runs. In pursuit, the young Indian team led by Shubman Gill retaliated strongly hitting down their opponents by seventy-five runs thus leveling out matters.
