Election affidavit of Prime Minister Narendra modi reveals that he is worth a little over ₹3 crores most of which is in bank fixed deposits. His nomination papers were duly accomanied by the affidavit as required on May 14th when he filed them as a candidate for Varanasi parliamentary seat, his third.

Govt. extends ban imposed on LTTE for five years
It will be recalled that the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has renewed its proscription of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) for a further period of five years as the organization “continously encourages secessionist tendencies among members” and as its supporters “consolidate support for the LTTE in India, especially Tamil Nadu,” which would have an effect on national security.
