According to information relayed by Malayalam media houses Manorama and Mathrubhumi, a planned dance performance featuring Bollywood actress Sunny Leone at the University College of Engineering in Thiruvananthapuram has been canceled.
“The Vice-Chancellor has recently asked the university registrar to ensure that there is no ‘show’ by Sunny Leone in the list of programmes,” Kunnummal continued, adding: “It was my decision.” This move comes after an incident where four students died during a stampede at a concert last year held in Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat) and over 60 others were left with injuries.
On July 5, Sunny Leone was scheduled to perform at engineering college while her current work is going on for one untitled Malayalam film. She recently uploaded a small part of Muhurat ceremony of this movie on her Instagram account expressing joy for it.
Further, she is also making news these days because she will be seen in an upcoming Tamil film titled Quotation Gang along with Priyamani and Jackie Shroff. Earlier this month, Sunny took to her social media to share the posters. “In Theatres from July! A Hyper-link movie. Let’s unveil the mysterious minds, a deceptive couple, two soul-stirring identities, a swaggering teenager and bonds that don’t stand the test of time.” she wrote.
