A few storms are expected to move through Central Indiana beginning with Friday evening as the region experiences a series of weather changes. The showers, according to Parami News, will be accompanied with gusty winds up to 40-50 MPH, heavy downpours and thunderstorms, and lightning due to an area of low pressure positioned over the Indiana-Ohio border.
Fast movement of these storms makes flash flooding less probable even though they are extremely intense.
For Saturday morning until dawn, central Indiana residents expect a dense fog. These fogy nights and mornings continue into late Saturday and Early Sunday due to clear skies moderately humid air masses and wet ground surfaces.
However, there is a more stable weather pattern ahead. A high-pressure system has been projected over Central Indiana resulting in an extended period of sunny, hot but not very humid weather. With this shift comes sunshine every day across the region as temperatures rise slightly above normal for this weekend and half next work week.
On Monday and Tuesday highs could approach 90°F before a possible midweek pattern change. At present any rain appears unlikely for that period; therefore it has not been included in our 7-Day Forecast.
People are advised to carry sunscreens as well as sunglasses in their pockets during the next days because it will be sunny all time long.
