American actress of South Asian origin Shezray Husain will be debuting in Disney+ Hotstar’s Gunaah.
South-Asian American actress Shezray Husain cannot wait to make her debut on Disney + Hotstar’s latest show Gunaah. The character of Divya, portrayed by Shezray in this promising and thrilling narrative, is the name to watch out for. This web series is an adaptation of a Turkish drama called Ezel and it can be streamed online on Disney+Hotstar. In this film, she shares scenes with two other top actors namely Gashmeer Mahajani as well as Surbhi Jyoti.
Through a grueling audition process. Shezray a talented actress with an extensive background in theatre and commercial work got the part of Divya. Her journey included several rounds of auditions and having to attend an in-person reading that finally won her place in the cast. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, USA, acting has always been a great passion of Shezray’s life. During her school years she began working as a theatre actress before further developing her skills through lessons from acting and improv tutors within America.
“I couldn’t be happier making my entrance into such an exciting series like Gunaah,” said Shezray. The whole experience right from going through auditions up to being on set was extremely fulfilling for me . I really do hope people would resonate with Divya while watching and enjoy the show just like we loved making it.
While preparing for her role in Gunaah. Shezray didn’t need any completely new skills but she had to concentrate on improving herself as an actor. Nonetheless Hindi is not her mother tonge but she works hard at perfecting her diction so that her performances on screen are realistic.
Before featuring in Gunaah which will serve as her Bollywood debut; there have been some notable projects which Shezray worked on in India. She has made appearances in Samsung, LG, Parachute and Maybelline ads. In addition, she acted in the music video of Cancer Awareness by Shaan. However Gunaah is her first major project on the screens of India showing her talent to wider audience.
