To this, enormous 16 crores need to be paid to treat this problem and Sood’s crowdfunding campaign has managed to save lives of 11 babies from this disease.
More lately, Sonu Sood initiated help for one seven months old baby named Sehrish who is suffering from SMA type 1. He has called on people to help and donate so they can help Sherish. Apart from this, the actor also helps several causes marketing through his Sood Charity Foundation NGO.
In a statement made to TimesNow earlier, Sonu Sood had stated that for him, helping people is an ‘incomplete work’. He had stated, “That is great satisfaction because it seems I have finally found myself.… What I was doing with my life prior to this appears quite irrelevant now. Surely, I will always be an actor first. Except that if I speak the naked truth, all the work that I have done these three years has given me more fulfillment than everything else that I have done in my career. It is very encouraging that people want me to help them out of their troubles.”
As for acting, Sonu Sood is in the process of filming for his new movie Fateh. The exciting thriller movie is said to be Sonu’s first directorial debut and it will address the issue of cyber bullying. Apart from that, there is Nassirudeen Shah and Jaqueline Fernandez in the movie. Fateh release date is set to be January 10, 2025.
