Actor-humanitarian Sonu Sood turned into savior again, and this time for a baby. The actor-philanthropist raised Rs 17 crores for the most expensive injection in the world that saved the life of a 22-month-old infant who had been diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Type 2 in Jaipur. The campaign saw thousands of Rupees pour into its account from various sources to an impressive tune of Rs. 9 crores within three months.

However, Sood who has previously supported similar causes but managed to save around nine lives did not give up on this one as well. This campaign by people all over India backed by relentless support of Sonu Sood collected a much needed amount within a very short period and saved someone’s life again with his noble deeds proving once again that he is indeed a true hero, our National Hero.
Regarding his work, Sood is preparing himself for directing Fateh, which is currently being edited. Filmed at multiple international locations, it features Sood alongside Jacqueline Fernandez. Produced by Shakti Sagar Productions and Zee Studios, the film is slated to release later this year.
