Adipurush (2023), an epic Ramayana-based film, was released last year. There is another film on this topic that may be released next year if all goes well and it will feature Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Sunny Deol and Yash. And this year as well there will be a version of the Ramayana that the audience refers to their hearts too. This year trade sources revealed that highly loved anime movie titled Ramayana: The Legend Of Prince Rama would finally come out in theaters.
According to Bollywood Hungama’s trade analyst, “Ramayana: The Legend Of Prince Rama was remastered in 4K by its creators because it hadn’t premiered on the big screen.” Moreover, they keep getting a lot of love and positive comments on their social media handles. Infact after Adipurush failed to deliver what it promised to cinema goers; many people have equated Ramayana: The Legend Of Prince Rama with it in the posts they have shared. It thus has high recall value besides having a cult following.”
“The makers have begun talks with distributors to understand how wide the release should be and other such strategies,” added the source. After being asked when we should expect the release date, he said “The date has not been locked. But they are looking at releasing it either in September or October. A clearer picture will emerge in a few weeks.”

It is interesting that Arun Govil who played Lord Rama character in TV serial Ramayan also voiced Lord Rama in the animated film entitled Ramayana: The Legend Of Prince Rama. However, Ravana’s voice was given by Amrish Puri. Vanraj Bhatia, the popular music director composed its songs.
Another interesting fact is that there was also an alternative English version for release in US called Warrior Prince and The Prince of Light: The Legend Of Ramayana, featuring none other than Bryan Cranston. Furthermore, James Earl Jones who is famous for being the voice of Darth Vader from Star Wars franchise was the narrator.

Meanwhile James Earl Jones the man behind Darth Vader’s voice in Star Wars saga narrated it too.
