The dust has not yet settled on Pitroda’s “inheritance tax” remarks, and the leader’s latest remarks on India’s diversity have created new trouble for the great old party. “We can unite a country as diverse as India – people from the east look like Chinese, people from the west look like Arabs, people from the north look like white people, people from south India look like Africans. It doesn’t matter. We are all brothers and sisters. politician.

Several leaders of the BJP lashed out at the Congress over Pitroda’s racist remarks and demanded an apology from the Congress. Prime Minister Modi denounced the grand old political party for “insulting Indians on the basis of their skin colour”.
