However, his trip began causing a great stir in the media when some reports indicated that the singer-musician was apprehended at the airport of Dubai. Nevertheless, Khan responded to both of them and to reassure his fans by posting a video of himself from the city in UAE.

Taking to Instagram, The singer posted a clip where he assured his followers that everything is okay. He impugned any “ghatiya” rumors suggesting why he was there saying, “Main yahan gaanon ki recording karne aaya hoon. Insha Allah yahan pe gaane bahut achhe chalte hain (I have come here to record songs and they are very good here).” Further on, he maintained that he would be back home soon and manufacture hits after hits just like always. His team clarified this on the video’s caption as well stating “News circulating regarding the arrest of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is fake and baseless. – Regards Team RFAK”.
What were reports about his arrest saying?
According to earlier reports, Rahat had been arrested in Dubai after being sued for defamation by his former manager Salman Ahmed. Apparently, these two had a fall out which resulted in law suits being filed against each other thereby leading Khan’s arrest afterwards. However, with this latest video it seems like all those reports will not stand.
