Musheer is an admitted patient in a hospital in Lucknow and is doing very well – stable, oriented and alert. He has suffered a cervical vertebra fracture and is currently on medical treatment. Medical staff from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and MCA are keeping a close watch on him to ensure he does not lack in the best healthcare services. When Musheer is declared fit for flying he will be sent to Mumbai for further examination and treatment. Further targets are going to be set following this examination his recovery.”
In what is a big blow to Mumbai just before the start of the domestic season for 2024-25, it is a sad development, which could keen Musher out of the game for bucchus of three months else more, that the talented teenage allrounder is now bound to miss the Irani Cup tie against ROI at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow and most of the early matches in the Ranji Trophy, which is commencing from October 11.
