Mona Singh has signed up for a second season of the critically acclaimed Netflix series, Kohrra. The actress, who has recently been praised for her roles in projects such as Made in Heaven 2, Kaala Paani and Munjya, is now part of this ensemble cast of a gripping crime thriller. Set against the backdrop of Punjab, created by Sudip Sharma, Kohrra is an engaging story. Suvinder Vicky, Barun Sobti and Harleen Sethi starred in the first season that received widespread acclaim for its compelling narrative and powerful performances.
According to Mid-Day report, Mona Singh has commenced shooting the second season of Kohrra in Punjab. This project seems to suit her well because she can speak Punjabi fluently and because she is talented and experienced enough to raise the bar even higher for storytelling purposes. Although there are no details available about her character currently. It’s clear that having her on board will be very impactful on the show as a whole.
Randeep Jha who directed Kohrra’s first season is directing this one too. Sudip Sharma the creator is once again involved in writing process. Mona Singh’s presence aboard thrills team members; believing that she would bring immense value to the success of their series
