'Modern-day great Virat Kohli will figure it out' - Rohit Sharma

Virat Kohli‘s form remains the centre of attention as India and Australia get ready for another battle in the fourth Test of the ongoing Border Gavaskar Trophy, which stands level at 1-1 with all to play for.
Kohli has had an up and down tour so far, starting it with a century in the Perth Test to end his wait for a red-ball hundred but dwindling away in the next two Tests in Adelaide and Brisbane.

Rohit Sharma: ‘Virat Kohli is a modern day great. He will figure it out’

Kohli’s five Test innings in this series Down Under read 5, 100*, 7, 11 and 3 for an aggregate of 126 runs at an average of 31.50. But captain Rohit is not losing his sleep over it and is confident about Kohli turning it around once again.
“Modern-day greats will figure out their own way of (carving out their) path,” said the skipper when asked about Kohli’s form at the press conference in Melbourne on Tuesday.
On the other hand, Rohit himself has been struggling for runs since the Test series at home against Bangladesh and New Zealand.
The skipper missed the tour opener while being on paternity leave following the birth of his second child. Upon joining the team from the Adelaide Test onwards, Rohit has been batting at No. 6, allowing the back-in-form KL Rahul to open with Yashasvi Jaiswal.

However, the move to the middle order didn’t change things for Rohit and his poor run of form continued with knocks of 10, 3 and 6 runs on the tour so far.
When asked about the shape of India’s batting order in the Boxing Day Test, Rohit chose to keep his cards close to his chest.
“Let’s not worry about who bats where. (It is) Something that we need to figure (out) and not something (that) I would be discussing here. We will do what is best for the team,” the skipper said.
As far as the blow he took on the knee while training, Rohit said, “It’s fine.”
