Minnie recalled her first days and wrote: “January 1995 was my first day at the station as a TV host. Here’s the story. I was a fresh-off-the-boat MBA working at JWT. In those days I used to work part-time as a model dorda mountain Just switched to Zee TV, India’s first satellite channel.
She added, “One day out of the blue… the now legend @sanjoykroy called me to audition for one of India’s first game shows – TOL MOL KE BOL. The first season made @riturajksingh (RIP) popular, He was moving on to movies. They needed new owners and I was in my crappy office with a perm. I didn’t think I was going to be chosen and I had the confidence of a “fresh graduate” so I wasn’t nervous at all. . But from the moment he called ACTION, I felt at ease. The camera is my friend and it has never intimidated me. I can chat with it instead of talking to it. I was at home.
In one of the photos, Mini can be seen standing next to the young man R Madhavan Standing and talking about it, she wrote, “My co-host is this cute new boy @actormaddy from Jamshedpur (we all know how this story goes) and we travel all over the place together India, letting people guess the right price to win their stuff. The most popular round was where contestants had to guess the price of the sari worn in each episode. My look depended on donations from sponsors that week as well as my mother’s jewelry. She ended her message by saying, “TMKB is a great place to learn… I learned how to modulate my voice, how to deal with fans and compliments, how to capture my own light, and sign my first autograph… those Being on TV was a big deal!
