For Major League Cricket (MLC) to have achieved the official List-A status from the International Cricket Council (ICC) just before its much-anticipated second season, which will commence on July 5, 2024.
This move is a momentous achievement in the development of the league and cements MLC’s place as America’s top domestic T20 championship.
Each feat performed within this league will be recorded as an official career statistic using the globally accepted format for centuries, half-centuries, five wickets hauls, run-outs, wins and losses in cricket matches as well as titles in List A records.
The recognition opens doors for rising talents and local US players bringing a dose of international fame that is very crucial for improving Americans’ homegrown cricket in their national league called MLC
After a successful first season, the attaining these statuses further underpins MLC’s determination to make cricket among the foremost sports activities in USA.
Plans by MLC CEO Vijay Srinivasan are to increase its previous 19-game record during the 2023 season, making it a total of 34 games by 2025.

As last year’s sold-out events indicate ticket sales should be made early enough by supporters so they do not miss out on any action.
Starting at $30 per head for general admission tickets only. Off-field activities such as entertainment during the matches, firework displays, freebies at each game, player signings and meet-and-greets, giveaways of merchandise, food trucks, and samples throughout are all part of this season.
