The first Test of the three-match series between England and Sri Lanka will take place on Wednesday in Manchester. Ben Stokes, an all-rounder at England who suffered a hamstring tear during ‘the hundred’, will not participate in any way at all in the series of three games. England Vice-captain Ollie Pope, is captaining the side for this match. The team was announced on Monday by the English cricket, which included a return for fast bowler Matthew Potts to enforce a five-man bowling attack against Sri Lanka.
