As it completes its 26th year, the organization is establishing a foundation for the socio-cultural and artistic activities of their members in each of its area development societies (ADS) across Kerala.
Thus, Ennidam would not only strengthen the ward level ADS mechanism but also be a cultural centre to promote Kudumbashree’s women’s creative talents and venue for their recreational purposes. In this regard, office bearers of each ADS will oversee the operations of ‘Ennidam’.
For this reason, public spaces in each ward under local bodies as well as libraries are being prepared for Ennidam to enable Membership enhance their social awareness, ensure healthy mental condition of people and uphold harmonious environment.
Also, Jafar Malik—the executive director of Kudumbashree—shall lead the launch of “Ennidam” at Karikottukuzhy ADS in Aryancode panchayat on May 17 (Friday), which is Kudumbashree’s anniversary. At that time, he will have an occasion to open the new ADS office also.
The chairman of kudumbasree district mission will be Ramesh G. Nishad C.C., the kudumbasree state program manager, will then present Ennidam concept.
Kudumbashree products exhibition, food mela and cultural programmes shall be conducted on that day.
