Hinting about a special appearance from Shahid Kapoor, the filmmaker behind Rebound of Ishq Vishk.
This month sees the release of a sequel to this romantic drama called Ishq Vishk Rebound which has Pashmina Roshan, Rohit Saraf, Jibraan Khan and Naila Grewal in its extensive cast. So, even after four years since this romance flick was released; fans of previous prequel can anticipate some interesting nods to it including maybe a cameo by Shahid Kapoor who played the main character in 2024’s this.
During recent Mumbai trailer launch for Ishq Vishk Rebound, director has given away surprise hint on whether Haider actor will appear in it or not as he said “You will know that on June 21” after being asked if Shahid Kapoor will make a guest appearance in this teenage love story.
What is Ishq Vishk franchise all about?
Ishq Vishk served as a debut film for both Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao back in 2003. Playing college students who finally realize what true love means on their way through friendship, romance and relationship were Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao.
Now almost two decades later, Ishq Vishk Rebound would be Pashmina Roshan’s first movie ever while Rohit Saraf is expected to play a leading man. Even cute little Krish Raichand (Jibraan Khan) from K3G (Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol Starrer) has been roped into making an appearance in this romcom. Naila Grrewal who recently appeared in Netflix’s Maamla Legal Hai also landed herself into one of the key roles here. Nipun Dharmadhikari directed it and it will be exclusively available at selected cinemas starting next week i.e., June 21st.
