NEW DELHI: India U19 Harvansh Singh Pangalia took the social media by storm by attempting a MS-Dhoni inspired run-out during the U19 Asia Cup match against UAE in Sharjah on Wednesday.
Pangalia took a wayward throw and attempted a no-look throw at the stumps in a bid to run the batter out. Despite his effort, the batter was safely inside the crease.
Interestingly, this no-look throw is a skill famously associated with MS Dhoni, who was known for such innovative wicketkeeping techniques, often executing them successfully.

Talking about the match, India dished out a brilliant all round performance and clinched a 10-wicket victory over UAE to qualify for the semi-finals.
UAE’s decision to bat first backfired as they collapsed for just 137, with Yudhajit Guha leading the charge by claiming three wickets. Chetan Sharma and Hardik Raj also impressed, taking two wickets each to leave UAE in disarray.
In response, India’s batters took complete control from the outset. Openers Ayush Mhatre and Vaibhav Suryavanshi put together an unbeaten 143-run partnership in just 16.1 overs, securing a dominant 10-wicket victory for India.
Mhatre scored his second consecutive fifty, smashing 67 off 51 balls, while Vaibhav led the scoring with a blistering 76 off 46 balls, including three fours and six towering sixes.
